As with every ice level there are those parts were you slide around uncontrollably. Large snow rivers travel fast and usually end up at icy spikes. Run against the flow and jump frantically to escape. There are icy barricades that will block progress and these can be destroyed by Spin Dashing them as jumping on them will inflict damage. |

Robotnik is surrounded by snow puffs which will freeze Sonic in a block of ice should you come into contact with them. Again, damage can be inflicted from the top. When you score a direct hit one of the puffs becomes an exploding snowman. |
